Group Member – 2002 to 2007
Veronica Fernandez was born in Barcelona, Spain, in 1977. She received a BSc. with honours (5 years) degree in physics with electronics from the University of Seville, Spain, in June 2002.
In July 2006 she graduated with a PhD in physics under the supervision of Prof Gerald S. Buller at Heriot-Watt University and then spent one year continuing her work in Quantum Key Distribution at Gigahertz Clock Rates, following the previous work done by Dr. Karen J. Gordon.
